We believe that every human deserves to be seen, heard, and loved, no matter where they come from or what they have.
We are a volunteer-based, people-powered NGO based in Tamil Nadu. Since 2020, we've been working in rural and underprivileged communities to uplift children, support the elderly, and stand beside the differently-abled, not with sympathy, but with care and compassion.
Did you know that 23 million girls drop out of school every year in India once they start menstruating? This is not because they lack intelli gence or ambition but because they don't have access to something as basic as sanitary pads.
In many communities girls are forced to use old clothes, newspapers or even ash in place of sanitary pads, risking infection and health prob-lems. Even worse, many schools don't have facilities like clean toilets or private spaces where girls can manage their periods. As a result, many of them feel embarrassed and ashamed, which causes them to miss school, leading to them eventually dropping out.
The Siragugal Program is trying to change that. We believe that every girl should have the chance to learn and grow, no matter her circum-stances. This is where we step in
